Introducing: Salon Miguel’s Grand Salon!

In 2004, Miguel formally opened the new Salon Miguel. He had moved from his first location, where he built up his clientele and popularity, to a house that he remodeled to suit his grand vision for an upscale salon, bringing the ambience of Toronto and Paris to his hometown, Oshawa.

Here is the newspaper article that announced the new salon to Oshawa society.

Keep following Miguel’s blog to see the grand rooms designed for the comfort of salon clients. We have loads of photographs to share with you so you can feast your eyes and experience the ambience of the Grand Salon Miguel. Stay tuned as well to hear about the party of a lifetime celebrating Salon Miguel’s meteoric success.

If you have memories of the salon, Miguel, the entertainment, and the much-talked-about party of a lifetime, please feel free to share them in the comments, email cindy@artnwords.ca or share them with Miguel on Facebook. We will be happy to read them and quote or feature them in this website, in the book, or in both! We will also be happy if you would share any relevant photographs you have.

    1. Thank you for sharing this memory! Little details like that soap can mean so much, yet most people forget them. It’s nice to have someone like Miguel who cares about making your experience great down to the tiniest detail!

  2. Love the way Miguel cuts and styles my hair. He doesn’t have to use any irons to bring volumn. Best hairdresser ever! If you haven’t had Miguel cut and style your hair, you are missing out.
